"Batwoman is back ... as a lesbian: DC Comics superheroine returns with a ‘different point of view’ "
Does anyone keep up with American comics? I'm mostly a manga/anime fan myself. (Speaking of which, I need to track down some more girl/girl stuff... All I've really seen is Miyuki-chan in Wonderland and Revolutionary Girl Utena.)
This seems like it could either kick much ass or gross me out. On one hand, they might make her a three-dimensional character lesbians can really identify with. On the other, she's 5'10 and-- well, just look at the outfit. Any thoughts?

I was happy to read about this as well, but I have yet to get around to seeing the actual book. Does anyone have a personal review?
