Problem I have found

I am in my late 20's and have never had a relationship with a woman. It's not that I have just suddenly became a lesbian, but it's just that I am now finally letting go and allowing myself to accept it for myself and embrace it. Obviously I am not "out" to anyone but a few close friends who it came as no suprise to them. The problem that I have found is that most women I talk to me quickly run the other direction when I tell them that I have never been in a relationship with a woman. I can't say that I completely blame them because they may feel this is just experimentation, but I truly feel that it is not. What are anyone else's thoughts on this. Will I ever find someone that isn't afraid to have a relationship with an older person who hasn't been in a relationship before??? Are there people still out there that my previous status doesn't matter to them?
