Having came out of the closet as a transgendered female to my family more then two years ago and having lost near all of my family and friends the holidays are a bad time for me very depressing when i cannot call a brother or sister on the telephone or send them an email or even a Christmas card any-longer the holidays are very much depressing.
It sure hurts to be all alone and it sucks when your family will not listen or try to understand me they just simply have disowned me completely. |

| You have two kinds of family. The ones that you are born with and friends. The ones that you are born with are not always friends or even friendly. Friends on the other paw are family that you choose and your relationships with them can be stronger and closer than those you were born with. This is what has helped me. I hope this helps. |
