If you already have an active profile
and just want to EDIT that profile,
don't start from scratch all over again here.
Not necessary, editing is quicker, and it wouldn't work anyway.
Only ONE profile PER EMAIL ADDRESS can be accepted.
This is the area to submit a brand new profile, for those potential subscribers who:

- are entirely new
- were previous subscribers, but no longer have a profile active
- want to fill out a new profile using a different email address to add an additional city (more info on that in the FAQ)

SECOND, we'd recommend using any browser at all OTHER than Microsoft's Internet Explorer
to fill out this questionnaire, if that's possible for you.
It should still work in MSIE, but it looks nicer
and is MUCH easier to read on most other browsers.
If you'd like a more specific recommendation, Firefox is super swell.

THIRD, please understand you'll need a functioning email address
from which you can retrieve email to finish your registration:

1. We recommend using a "personal" email account.
We do not recommend using an email address an employer gave you because
some employers frown on use of their company email servers for
non-job-specific purposes. But that's obviously up to you.

2. You will need to know how to spell your email address completely
and correctly. No, we're really NOT trying to insult your intelligence,
but you'd probably be surprised if you knew how very many invalid email addresses
get uselessly submitted here every single day.
If you're in doubt, please go check now.

3. This email address needs to have space available for the inbox
to accept new email. If you haven't checked it lately, it might not.

4. If you have some sort of challenge response system to accept new email,
you'll need to turn it off or tell it in advance to accept email from our email address.

BEFORE completing your profile.

Your email service probably has a spam trap active
(YES, even if you didn't tell it to, all the major email services automatically do),
and all spam traps erroneously trap email that actually wasn't spam from time to time.
No, we never have and never will send any spam, but this website has suffered from
false spam trapping somewhat more than others for containing words like
"lesbian" and "bisexual" that make some spam traps especially paranoid.

After you finish submitting your profile, a confirmation email will be sent to the
email address you entered. If it bounces
(no space available, spam trap rejected it, any other reason, etc.)
and/or you are unable to retrieve that email for any reason,
your profile will be rejected and your time spent filling it out will have been in vain.

And you wouldn't want that, would you?
