I think a lot of the grief bisexual people get from the rest of the queer community comes from the fact that they are more likely to pass. Take your average cisgender bisexual person, if they are with someone of the opposite gender then they can move around in hetero spaces easily. Now imagine you're a queer that can't. I think that's where some of the resentment comes from. Not that I'm saying that's okay, because it's really not.
My mom, who's been married to her wife for over 17 years, was told she wasn't a "real lesbian" because she was married to my dad and that's where the kids came from. Like, what the frackity frack?
